CASE _ The client wanted to develop an augmented reality app to promote the sale of its wine labels.
We have developed Personal Sipper with the average user in mind, with little wine culture but who likes wine and appreciates correct wine pairings when they are proposed to him, who goes to the supermarket and has no assistance in recognising the correct wine-course pairings;
SOLUTION _ Personal Sipper is an app for mobile devices that suggests the correct wine, depending on the filters selected, simply by framing the shelves.
Thanks to augmented reality, Personal Sipper places icons on the labels that recall the type of wine that corresponds to the filter: by type (white, red, still, etc.), by region of origin, or in association with the course of the lunch or dinner to which the bottle is to be taken;
In fact, you can select a first course, a second course and a dessert and the app will filter the wines that go with it, highlighting in augmented reality which bottle goes with which selected dish, allowing even novices to choose the perfect match and always make a good impression;
